On buying the restaurant in 2007, Ali and Geoffrey Golden undertook a year long renovation programme of the building. This involved extending the kitchen to treble its size and the restoration of the rooms to their original proportions.
The interior of the restaurant now has a sophisticated, muted colour palate, punctuated by original modern art chosen to complement the Georgian features of the building.
Our young, energetic staff will welcome you at the front door and make you feel at home in this unique Bath restaurant.
We are open all day from 10a.m. serving coffee, hot drinks and patisserie, through until lunch which starts at midday, then teas, including the famous buttermilk scones cream tea from 3.00p.m. till 5.00p.m.
Our evening dinner service starts at 6.00p.m.
